Have you experienced God’s faithfulness during your life journey and its ups and downs?   Would you like to encourage another woman in her walk with Christ?   A mentor requires no special talent just a desire to support another woman through listening, prayer, and sharing.

Do you have a desire to talk to another woman who is further along in her life than you are?  Would you like to spend time with someone who will support, pray for and encourage you in your walk with Christ and life in general?   If so, consider signing up as a mentee.

What to do next?     Read the Heart to Heart Information Sheet and complete a mentor or mentee profile form.  Available online and at the table in the foyer!

Heart to Heart Information Sheet

What is Heart to Heart?
Heart to Heart is a mentoring relationship between two Christian women referred to as Mentors and Mentees.

Who is it for?
All adult women at NW Church.

What is a Mentor?
A woman who opens her life and heart to another woman.  In general, a mentor is older in age than the mentee but not necessarily.  A mentor is further along in her spiritual growth.  She shares what God has done in her life to encourage and assist a mentee in growing in her relationship with Jesus Christ.

What is a Mentee?

A mentee is a woman who desires encouragement, prayer, support, a listening ear as well as insight from another woman with more life experience and wise advice when requested.

How are Mentors and Mentees matched?
Heart to Heart leaders prayerfully review profiles to make matches.  The matches are revealed during our launch gathering on February 24, 2024.  SAVE THE DATE!

“We were gentle among you like a mother caring for her little children.  We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us…encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into His kingdom and glory.”    ~ I Thessalonians 2:7-8, 12
