First Bible Ceremony - 2nd & 3rd Graders - Nov. 24
Parents: We are planning a unique service in November—one that encourages our youngest readers to read the Bible. Since 2nd graders are reading independently, this is the perfect time to help them engage in the Book that will change their lives. As adults, most of us struggle with reading the Bible on a consistent basis. Our lives would probably be different if someone had helped us understand that the Bible is personal, prepares us for life, and is true.
On November 24th at 5:30 pm, there will be a special First Bible Ceremony for your family. We are including the 3rd graders, because we missed the opportunity to bless them last year.
If you want to participate in this unique event, we ask that you and your child come to a preliminary meeting on Sunday, November 3rd after the 10:30 a.m. service. We won't take up too much of your time, but we want to give you information regarding how the service will flow and answer any questions your family might have.
